I would give 10 stars if I could. Was in New Haven for a couple of days and walked past this gem. The store drew me in like a magnet. It has a sort of Anthropologie meets Williams Sonoma vibe with reasonable prices for high quality items. Excellent customer service too. Will definitely be back!

Dwell is a beautiful store and I always have a nice experience here. If you are looking for some creature comforts for someone special this is a great place to stop in. Ellen was very helpful and knowledgeable about all of the items in the store and did a wonderful job wrapping my things. I always stop in around the holidays and will visit again soon.

Polly was the best! She’s super helpful and she introduced me and my family to Jojo the adorable rescue dog. The aesthetic is unique and is an amazing locally owned shop. Please support as they are great people and deserve to be recognized

What an adorable shop with unique gifts! The sales associate that was there was super helpful and even gift wrapped my items without me asking. I didn't catch her name, but she was friendly, easy to talk to, and she recommended a few great restaurants to try while I was in the area (Bar & Georgie's Diner). If I'm back in the area, I'll def. swing by dwell again.

A really nice local store that has a great vibe, tons of cool items (including things made locally!), and the staff is super friendly. Make sure to go all the way in, as there’s a bit more to the store in the back. Everything is high quality, and is a must-visit store if you’re shopping for gifts, or just something for your home. Highly recommended. =)

A really cool eclectic store with lots of cool things you didn’t know you needed. We found all kinds of neat things. A really nice spot without pushy sales people.

Staff were super friendly and helpful! Everything was super cute, quality, and locally-made. My mug was carefully wrapped and put in a gift bag with a ribbon color of my choice, all for free! (Except the mug, of course.) If you're looking for high-quality local New Haven gifts or souveniers with great customer service, this is the place to go. :)
